I found Google Chrome and it works pretty fast, blazing fast actually, but I can’t make the bookmark work for just a one click button like in IE. That’s why I can’t make the switch.
Best reply by Robby:
just click on the star by the url bar and select where you want the bookmark.

We all know that in order for your site to get higher rankings in Google, you need to bookmark them to different bookmarking sites. But my question is, there a big difference in posting to PR 3 + bookmarking sites than 2 and below including N/A bookmarking sites? Or it doesn’t matter if you post to PR 0 or to PR 8 sites? Can you still get higher Google rankings?
Best reply by Adrian Snell:
bookmarking is no longer a good way to improve our Google PR, but it’s still useful to make your backlinks indexed faster.
let’s say you have website A and you get backlink from website B. Then what you can do to make your backlink counted faster by google is by bookmarking it to many bookmark sites .

Why on Google chrome does the bookmark icon disappear after you go to your first page. I would like to be able to jump to a bookmarked page without having to type in the address or opening a new tab. Can anyone help me?
Best reply by Grey Demon:
When you go to your first page or open a new tab or move to any page there is a option of bookmark (star) in the end of the navigation bar (where the address of a site is written such as www.something.com) and you can bookmark the page from there. This option is in latest version of Chrome (8.0.552.237), in older versions bookmark button was near the home button. If you are using an old version and want to upgrade that then go to tools, click about google chrome and it will show the version of chrome and updates, if available. If update is available, click install to upgrade your chrome.
If you are talking about the bookmark bar then you may have hidden it, to un-hide it Press Ctrl+B (in older version), in latest ver. Press Ctrl+Shift+B or you can go to tools and then check “always show bookmark bar”.
Enjoy
